The wood <\/span>industry is in many respects an ideal application example for intelligent and sovereign data use. <\/span>along the value <\/span>chain<\/span> In the course of the change towards a <\/span>sustainable<\/span>economic system <\/span>the<\/span>raw<\/span> material wood and its efficient use profit <\/span>increasingly<\/span> of<\/span>importance<\/span>. <\/span>The use of data offers <\/span>countless<\/span> opportunities<\/span> – <\/span>e.g.<\/span> at the <\/span>seamless <\/span>Tracking of materials and<\/span>products<\/span>, in the best possible utilization of machinery and equipment or in the<\/span> sustainable <\/span>scrap reduction<\/span> and <\/span>transports<\/span>.<\/span> Companies<\/span>in<\/span> the wood industry <\/span>differentiate considerably with regard to <\/span>the degree of digitization<\/span> and <\/span>size<\/span>which<\/span> represents<\/span>a<\/span> challenge<\/span>but creates on the other<\/span>side also <\/span>a valuable basis for the transfer of <\/span>approaches<\/span> in other <\/span>sectors<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

champI4.<\/span>0ns <\/span>–<\/span> an<\/span> open <\/span>Eco<\/span>s<\/span>ystem<\/span><\/p><\/h3><\/div>

The champI4.0ns consortium attaches particular importance to using preliminary work from activities such as Data Market Austria<\/span> in austria <\/span>or<\/span> ReCo<\/span>Net<\/span> in Germany<\/span> to consider interfaces to current initiatives such as <\/span>International<\/span> Data<\/span>Spaces<\/span>, <\/span>Gaia-X <\/span>or<\/span> the Big Data Value <\/span>Association<\/span> (BDVA), and to help shape future <\/span>data service<\/span>ecosystems<\/span> such as the Green Data Hub to play a central role. <\/span>The consortium invites <\/span>interested<\/span> actors<\/span>to<\/span> become <\/span>part of<\/span> the champI4.0ns<\/span>-Community<\/span>. <\/span>Only<\/span> the exchange between <\/span>diverse<\/span> actors<\/span>let us<\/span> create <\/span>an ecosystem <\/span>for intelligent and sovereign data <\/span>use, <\/span>which<\/span> offers added value for <\/span>all<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The overall objective of champI4.0ns is the (further) development of <\/span>methods<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>tools <\/span><\/b>which allows an intelligent and sovereign use of data in production and <\/span> the clarification of the potentials of cross-company <\/span>data use in production with the help of <\/span>demonstrators<\/span><\/b>.<\/p>\n
